‘Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin…’
Jesus of Nazareth
It's the little things in life that matter!
Taking a moment in the day to say 'Thank You' even uttered alone expresses deep gratitude for all that we have.
When we are present in the ordinariness of life extraordinary things take place. It's the practice of mindfulness, our present state of being and participation in the unfolding of life do we learn wonderful lessons. Lessons that pave the way for growth
We create the need for this by clearing the clutter of thoughts which then allows creativity to occupy that very space
Our environment then becomes a place where we can flourish, enjoying each passing moment with full fervour and intent on changing the game of life.
We need not be victims of our circumstances but creators of our own destinies. We make the choice!
It is so easy to take for granted the little wonders in life: an emerging rainbow, the lilies of the field, a flock of geese, the rays of the sun providing warmth and energising our bodies. Take a moment to savour and appreciate such things that makes life an interconnected and wonderful place to be a part of
